You may be wondering why we switched, when Jodi had the old site looking so fantastic! The answer lies in the underlying code for the websites. The old one was based on a computer language known as Flash (not compatible with all computers, tablets, or smart phones) whereas the new one is written in the HTML5 language (recognized by most computers, tablets, and phones).
The old site was actually two websites; one for computers and one for mobile devices such as phones and tablets. So each time we updated the site, we had to update both sites. Things would often get overlooked, so it could say one thing if you viewed it on a computer and something else if you viewed it on a phone. The new website is fully responsive across all platforms, so we can make the updates in just one place and everyone can see them at the same time.
